Sadly, with NSW and the ACT in lockdown and no clear end date in sight, our tournament committee has decided to restructure this year’s event and refund all current nominations.
It is planned to hold a two-day City of Orange Golf Championship on the Sunday and Monday of the long weekend and focus on an interclub challenge between Wentworth and Duntryleague.
By then both clubs will be looking for ways to increase turnover to cover the fixed cost they have all year round and what a great way for the members of both clubs to join together and do something for their club in tough times.
The interclub competition will be decided on the average of the best 30 Stableford scores for each club (both days combined). The competition should be fierce.
The cost for the two days has been reduced to $100-00 and great prizes will still be on offer.
If you are within the Orange LGA, get your nominations in early to get the best tee times.
